Practice Facility

Most golf courses built in the 1920s did not have a practice area and Mira Vista was no exception. Golfers in that era of American golf generally weren’t inclined to stand on a range and bash out piles of practice balls in search of the game’s riddle. Today, it would be difficult to find a golfer who hasn’t spent some quality time on the practice range. And Mira Vista now has one of the most spectacular practices ranges in golf.  Perched up on a ridge, the practice range offers not only three different teeing levels, but a sweeping view of the entire Bay area.

Mira Vista also offers a full-size green designated for short pitching, chipping and sandtrap practice and a large putting “clock” in front of the clubhouse that matches in undulation and speed the greens on the course itself.
